Hypnosis Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
Hypnotists do not possess any unusual or mystic powers. The hypnotist is a trained professional, who has chosen to use his learned skill to help individuals overcome their self imposed limitations.
In 1955, a committee appointed by the British Medical Association reported that hypnosis was a valuable tool in medical treatment. In 1958, The American Medical Association followed suit after a similar committee had investigated and reported favorably.  As the general public became more aware of the art and science of hypnotism and the effectiveness of its application, the recognition of the hypnotist as a complementary health care provider became more established.  Hypnotism is now recognized as a distinct profession.

Every competent hypnotist is the recipient of the gratitude and admiration of his clients and is recognized in a very positive manner by members of other professional organizations.  In the last few years, there has been rapid growth in the field of hypnosis.   This growth in addition to further recognition has caused the demand for competent hypnotists to dramatically increase.
